Karen Mingay, an award-winning, senior communications specialist with 20 years corporate experience, is the founder of, and creative force behind, Bizz Buzz Communications™.

Karen’s diverse background and experience has equipped her to approach the development of effective employee communication programs from a unique perspective. Her greatest talent can best be described as “resourceful inventiveness”. She creatively transforms crucial Business Knowledge into fundamental Business Understanding.

In her former, corporate role as PR & Communications Manager for a global Spirits & Wine company, Karen built a comprehensive employee communications program, at the center of which were her original, interactive Learning Games. These games won rave reviews across North America and in Europe from both employees and management for their ability to engage employees in the business.

Karen is a member of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) and, as a recipient of a coveted 2002 IABC Gold Quill Award, her work has been recognized by her communication peers to be a model of international best practice, communication excellence, and innovation, exceeding measurable outcomes.

Through Bizz Buzz Communications, Karen now focuses her full-time energy in helping organizations reach their goals by creating fun, group activities that captures participants’ interest and imagination.
